As we mentioned earlier, headliner Grover Kemble was not feeling well when he took the stage Saturday with the Jerry Vezza Quartet at the inaugural Morristown Jazz & Blues Festival on the historic Morristown Green.

But his nylon-stringed guitar must have magical healing powers, because Grove sounded just fine from the opening number, Cool Cat Clawdy.

Our thanks to Gene Guerrero for capturing the miracle cure on video and sharing it with us.

Next time we have a toothache, can you bring that guitar over to the house, Mr. Kemble?

Oh, one more thing. Grover’s fans should know that he has added film scoring to his impressive musical résumé.

He and Brynn Stanley perform the theme song in The Last Ride of Sustainable Man, which premieres this coming Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Fourth Annual MorristownGreen.com Film and Music Festival.

Our festival is at Pioneer Park at Headquarters Plaza, Morristown. It’s also free, and it’s also sure to cure what ails you.
